CINDY TEGTMEYER, JDLF Gives

[Presentation] Connecting with Your Audience Through Storytelling

Cindy grew up all over the Midwest and moved to Galena with her family early 2013. She graduated from Millikin University with a BFA in Acting and lived in Chicago for 20 years working as a theater professional. 

July 2021, Cindy transitioned out of her 11-year career as Director of Global Executive Accounts for a communications skills company, to devote her energy to all things local. She is owner/instructor at Awake4Yoga, teaching yoga classes in the Galena community for ages 1-101, heavily involved in the local performing arts scene and the Committee Chairperson of JDLF Gives, the non-profit arm of Jo Daviess Local Foods.

In April 2023, Cindy was elected to Galena City Council as Alderperson of Ward I.

She loves taking daily walks around town and sharing her sunrise photos.

Attendees will walk away with ideas, tools, & strategies that can be implemented into their organization.
