DR. SHALONDA RANDLE, Freeport School District 145

Dr. Shalonda Randle is the Assistant Superintendent of Equity and Curriculum in Freeport School District 145. Dr. Randle came to FSD 145 from Pembroke School District 259 near Kankakee, IL. Dr. Randle has previously worked in Sunnybrook SD 171 and Dolton-West School District 148, where she served as a District administrator, principal and teacher.

Dr. Randle holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and Master of Science Degree in Educational Administration both from Eastern Illinois University. She obtained her Doctorate in Educational Policy Organizational Leadership from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

As an Equity Leader in FSD145, Dr. Randle provides leadership to the district in its commitment to support educational equity to all students; while focusing on improving academic outcomes. In her role as the Equity Director, Dr. Randle oversees several programs and initiatives that addresses the performance gap between low income and non-low-income students. These programs and initiatives assist in building a strong foundation of learning that contribute to the success of all of our students in Freeport School District.

Outside of her role as an Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Randle teaches and facilitates online graduate and doctoral courses at Governors State University in University Park, IL.

Dr. Randle is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
